We first saw Manang's Chicken at Mercato Centrale in 2011. At first we thought that it was just one of those run-of-the-mill fried chicken vendors that you typically see on most food bazaar, but we were wrong...
Manang's Chicken is a bit similar to Bon Chon's chicken; it's double fried and it's crispy. What makes Manang's Chicken different is that it is dipped in a special soy garlic sauce and then drizzled with sesame seeds, which for me makes their chicken even more appetizing and addicting. Aside from that, Manang's may have successfully captured pinoy's taste buds; they know that most Filipinos like their food covered or dipped in salty and sweet sauces which is "lakas kanin", as their slogan says "Ang bagong fried chicken ng bayan!"
Chicken Wings (Php. 295.00 - 12 Pieces)
I still don't know how they do it, but their chicken doesn't go soft even after being dipped in the sauce. Even though it takes me a while to finish my food, the chicken still stays crispy XD
Oh by the way, they have 3 sauces to choose from: original, mild spicy and extra spicy. Their extra spicy sauce is the bomb!

Manang's double fried chicken is a must try. It's quite hard for us to try their other dishes because we keep on coming back for their chicken :3
